Differences between bird flu and Andromeda particles

For a long time , here in Italy, a lot of newspapers and TV news talked about virus H5N1 (bird flu). At the moment this flu isn’t dangerous for human beings but unfortunately if it will change, it will be extremely dangerous and a lot of people will probably die.
So this terrible and now also very famous virus might cause epidemic that might involve human beings from all over the world. In this thing the bird flu is different from Andromeda particles about which Michael Chrichton’s book talks about. In fact Andromeda was lethal for Piedmont inhabitants when it first came from the space but after few days it finally became harmless after changing. We can find another difference from bird flu and Andromeda particles in the fact that while Andromeda particles killed people in a few seconds, bird flu “reveals” itself after seven days.
The last very important difference is that Andromeda is an extraterrestrial form while bird flu a terrestrial virus.
It’ s very interesting to see how we could not take contact with extraterrestrial forms “of life” in the way we have thought for years (contact with aliens that know technology)
