The most beautiful thing of Andromeda by Michael Chrichton, for us, is the beginning, when Piedmont is hit by the Andromeda virus (there are many description parts so involve the reader). It is interesting to see how scientists visit the place and try to discover why people died immediately and without a reason. There is a lot of suspense when Burton and Stone arrive in Piedmont, going inside the houses, walking among the corpses, section the dead bodies and find a baby and an old man still alive; at the end is very intriguing when Hall runs in order to switch off the button of the explosive device. However, we don’t like very much the end of the book because the characters don’t arrive at a conclusion; in fact, they can’t understand the cure before the change of the virus. While we were reading this book, we remembered the flu of birds (H5N1).
