June 2006:
The Love Songs' Website is online.
On the 8th June, two days before the school closes, the
Italian class receives a parcel from China! The students are
really excited.
In front of their teachers they open it: they read all
the nice letters written by their Chinese friends and show
all the wonderful gifts they find in the box.
This year they have really exchanged everything with their
partners: email, pictures, presentations, forum messages and
also real letters and real objects that bring with them some
true flavour of their countries!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
May 2006:
The Italian students have written four lyrics for new songs.
The Chinese students will see them on the project's Website.
Some students are keeping in touch with their Chinese
friends via email.

March - April
2006:
The three new presentations ore linked to the working area.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- January
– February 2006: The
Italian students have completed the new presentations of the
second group of songs . Soon the 3 groups of students will
present their work
in class
and eventually send them to the Chinese students . The
forum is starting to reach its normal activity and message
exchanges
(a lot of messages).
On the 22nd of
February the Chinese class receives a parcel from Italy.
Here is the mail their teacher, Wang Hong, sends to
Italy after opening it:
Dear Daniela,
How are you
doing? Can't wait to tell you what a nice surprise we've
received ! This certainly seems too late. But since we've
just got back to school, I've got to pick it up from the
postoffice. I called in my students after lunch today, and
together we opened the big box. It is much bigger than we
thought. I think it would be exciting to open a gift with
people around and I was right. You can imagine the surprise
we got! The whole office were stirred. Other teachers
really admired us. Thank you so much! The students have
taken the messages addressed to them. They are preparing a
reply to their partners. This certainly motivates them to do
more communication. We are also planning our gifts in
return. Please give us your mailing address so that we can
exchange our surprises. I don't want your students to feel
disappointed that their good will has got no return.
As for our
forum, we are still unable to log in. I tried to follow the
instruction. but still couldn't get through. I'll try again.
Thank you
again and wish you a nice day! Please pass on our thanks to
your students. I can see they are really so sweet. :)
Regards,
Wang Hong

in the end two Chinese groups have succeeded in presenting
their presentations about Hey Jude (Beatles) and
Without you (Mariah Carey). The session will be
completed next Monday morning (Italy), afternoon (China).
