Chapter 17
Settings:
Chocolate Room

Summary: chapter 17 describes the situation of Augustus Gloop while he is drinking the chocolate of the river falls. Mr Willy Wonka, desperate, says that its chocolate must not be touched by human hands otherwise it is contaminated and it is not good.
However, Augustus Gloop remains in the river and he is sucked into a pipe. His mother asks Willy Wonka where her son is and he reassures her by saying that the pipe is directed into the room where the strawberry-flavoured sweets are produced. Furthemore he adds that Augustus will be turned into candy with a terrible taste. Then the Oompa-loompas begin to make the ballet and they hit some small drums around the river and all follow carefully what they do.
In the end Mr Willy Wonka assures everybody that anything won’t happen to Augustus Gloop.
Personal comments: it is terrible the destiny of Augustus!
This happens to the too greedy boys!
Chapter 18

Chocolate river,
Mr. Wonka’s yatch, Dark tunnel, Storeroom Number 54 (door),
Storeroom Number 71 (door),
Storeroom Number 77 (door).

Summary:
all this chapter takes place in Willy Wonka’s private yacht.
With this boat
they surf on the chocolate river until the end of the tunnel.
During the travel Mr
Wonka gives Grandpa Joe a cup of chocolate for his skeleton
appearance,
because he was different from the other persons on the boat, the
most "osseus". In
the tunnel there are many doors containing the labels of strange
sweets. The first is
Storeroom Number 54 with all kinds of Cream. The second is
Storeroom number
71 with whips - all shapes and sizes, and in the end Storeroom
Number 77 with
all kinds of beans. The chapter ends with this words of Wonka:
”Stop the Boat”.
Personal comments:
this chapter shows the personal yacht of Willy Wonka, a
beautiful boat. Another point is that this chapter shows the
immensity of the factory.
