Here are two descriptions of one place: Colleferro (the town where our school is)

Description 1

Colleferro is an industrial and commercial centre. We say that it's a city but to be perfectly honest it's just a very inhabited town, it is mainly developed on two major roads and one central plaza. Colleferro just celebrated it's 70th birthday, it is so recent because it was born with the construction of the SNIA(an army ammunition production building)and continued to grow year by year with people coming from every where in Italy to work here so the town started developing near the factory. Colleferro is essentially divided in 4 parts. The first one is the city centre that has the town hall, two bars, many dressing shops, a playground and a pizza place. then the oldest part of Colleferro the Castellacio called like this because on the top of the hill there is a castle, and there is the cemetery, a bowling alley that I’m not sure has opened and the Breed that makes air bags. Always in this area there are also 2 museums one of the telecommunication and one of the prehistoric animals. The other area is the Scalo where there are a railway station, the cement factory, the SNIA, the Alstom (that makes trains and trams for all of Europe and Italy)and the 2 biggest shopping centres in Colleferro. Then for last the new area where there are all the major sport facilities, the cinema and a playground. Colleferro was built about seventy years ago around a factory. Colleferro is an industrial city but I like it very much because there I have a lot of friends and also because there are many places for young people. My town has a lot of shops ,i like very much sports and video game shops, but we have also a large number of shops of clothes. Fortunately we have enough gardens with many games for the children. Here there are any kind of schools: after "Middle School" we can choose the school we like better. Well this is my town. I hope in your next letter you describe me your town. replay me sooner. Dear friends ,

We want to describe our town. We live in Colleferro, a town near Rome. It has 25000 townsmen. The date of foundation is 1930. Colleferro is an industrial town. The most important factories are: SNIA BPD , Italcementi and more others. Colleferro has any kind of public service: hospital, 3 churches, cinema, supermarkets, 2 swimming pools and a large number of gymnasiums. In Colleferro there are many places where you can practice your hobbies.
 There are also many shops: one of them is the Coop. Colleferro is formed by two main streets and a big square: they are “Via 25 Aprile”, “Corso Filippo Turati” and “Piazza Italia”. There people have their commercial activities and around “Piazza Italia” there are some bars, shops, and the town hall; behind the town hall there is also a church. Colleferro has got many schools : the elementary schools, middle schools , and high school like the ITIS Cannizzaro, the Liceo scientifico and IPIA Parodi Delfino. A picturesque area of Colleferro is “Via degli Atleti”, where there are a cinema, a garden, a big park, where sometimes we go to play football, and a pitch. Another place is “San Bruno”: here there are a garden and a church, where the calm children play. Finally we can say that Collferro is a quiet and nice city. Excuse me, but now we must go.
