Dear friends,

how are you? I’ m fine. In this letter I would like to talk to you about my town because it’ s the only thing that you don’t know about me. Its name is Montelanico and it’ s a little town surrounded by a lot of trees and bushes, near the great town of Rome. Two adjectives describe it: quiet and old. We can find some ancient churches and it has got a main square where there is “The Fountain of Cherubs” and some shops, two pubs, three bars and six pizza restaurants. There is also a big town hall where sometimes there are exhbitions. In my town there are three playing-fields: a football ground, a volleyball ground and a tennis court and two parks. Montelanico is divided into two parts: the ancient part where there are a lot of ancient houses and narrow roads and the new part where there are different quarters. I live in the “Petreta quarter”. Montelanico has got about two thousand inhabitants and its economy is based on cattle farms. This is my town in short ...
