I teach English
in the Electronics and Liceo Scientifico Tecnologico courses at I.T.I.S.
"Stanislao Cannizzaro", a high school in Colleferro (Rome), Italy.
I
have been responsible of the multimedia lab for some years and I have always
been interested in developing my knowledge in applied linguistics and English
teaching methodology. In these last years I have been particularly attracted in
new technologies applied to teaching and C.B.I (Content Based Instruction). I
have some knowledge about computers only because I think they may be useful to
English teachers in their job, but I am not a fanatic, I am not a computer
addict, I do most of my job far from the machines.

I
think teachers must constantly update their way of working and
communicating simply because the young generations passing through our
classrooms change.

My
job, teaching, and school in general, are also a point of personal interest,
beside being a professional commitment. In a word, I like being an English
teacher and I have a good time at school with my students; I hope it is the same
for them!
