I started this Website
in the year 2000 as a part of the assignment for MLA 65, a course within
the Masters Level Award Programme in Education and Professional
Development for ELT Practitioners of the
School
of Education and Professional Development at
UEA
(University of East Anglia), Norwich, UK. It contains all the
assignments and the final dissertation produced at the end of each module of
the course.
They mainly concern my areas of interest which are the content-based
approach to teaching English, the role of information
and communication technology in English language teaching, and Action Research.
At the bottom of
the articles and assignments' list, you can find some articles
in Italian written for the
Website of the association
docenti.org,
and the online magazine
Education 2.0.
In the "
International Projects"
section there are materials produced both
by me and my classes concerning the ICT based units, modules,
courses, projects, virtual classes designed and carried out
mainly in collaboration
with other schools from all over the world. You will find also some
videos related to these activities or the face-to-face exchanges
that have represented, in these last four years, the natural
expansions of the online collaborations .
In the end of the
section there are the materials I created for university and teacher training
courses.
This Website is a
work in progress.
I and my students will go on adding new and
exciting experiences of teaching-learning activities made possible by English and ICT,
both used as tools of the world-wide communication.
